Short Take – Bidenomics

06/28/2023

The White House has been explaining lately how wonderful our economy actually is and why everyone is so happy about it.  After reviewing all the information and applying a bit of critical thinking here is a summary of Bidenomics and reasons why we are all so encouraged and happy about the economy as it stands today under the Biden administration.

What is Bidenomics and how is it really improving our lives, making us better off now than we were in 2019 before the Pandemic:

  • Top-down regulations to improve the quality of life
  • Restrict corporations from excessive growth
  • Subsidized electric vehicle production and sales for Union automakers
  • Allow certain products to be sold but counter this with restricted sales of other products
  • Restrict emissions for some corporations
  • Accelerate the Green Agenda
  • Shut down the Oil & Gas Industry along with the Coal Industry
  • Increase the money supply and distribute it among those positioned to receive it
  • Set pricing controls on pharmacies irrespective of research costs
  • Set wages for small & medium size retail businesses

With the implementation of Bidenomics in early 2021 we have become the beneficiaries of so many perks

  1. Increasing nominal wages with declining purchasing ability
  2. Stunning inflation
  3. Reduced product choices in stores making life simpler
  4. Amazing drop in job participation rate making it easier to stay at home
  5. Fed printing more money so you don’t have to work
  6. Ever greater summer electrical brownouts
  7. Increasing utility bills
  8. No more oil to worry about
  9. An extra day off from work for no drive days to save electricity

This has been such a boon to every citizen in the US it’s wonderful that we are sharing it with everyone who comes across our borders.  Now we have a chance to extend this opportunity for another 4 years coming up in 2024.  I hope you all will participate in the upcoming election and support your choice of lifestyle and freedom. As we all realize, and are occasionally reminded by some of the better comedians, humor that is most enjoyable always contains a bit of truth that is oft-times taken to the extreme.  There are many different kinds of humor and friendly sarcasm is one that those of us who are not comedians can participate in.  The most important takeaway from this Short-Take is to have fun with it and critically think about what we are being told by not only the WH Administration and congressional spokespersons but also corporate and social media as well.  Thanks for taking the time to read this.
